The Jharkhand Philosophical Forum (JPF) is pleased to announce the launch of a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, refereed research journal dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship in philosophy and allied disciplines.

The proposed journal aims to provide an inclusive academic platform for scholars, researchers, teachers, and students to engage critically with philosophical inquiry, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), indigenous and Adivasi thought, and contemporary social issues. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the journal seeks to integrate India’s intellectual traditions with modern research methodologies and interdisciplinary perspectives.

The journal welcomes original, unpublished research papers, review articles, and critical essays in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Indian philosophy and classical Darśanas
  • Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and NEP 2020 perspectives
  • Indigenous, tribal, and oral knowledge traditions
  • Ethics, logic, metaphysics, and epistemology
  • Social, political, and applied philosophy
  • Philosophy of culture, religion, science, and education
  • Interdisciplinary studies connecting philosophy with sociology, anthropology, history, law, and literature
  • Peer-reviewed / Refereed

The journal follows a strict double-blind peer review process and adheres to established academic standards of originality, transparency, and ethical research practices. Plagiarism and unethical publication practices are strictly prohibited.

The journal shall be guided by an Editorial Board and an Advisory Review Panel comprising scholars from philosophy and related disciplines. Detailed information regarding the editorial team will be announced separately.

The Call for Papers for the inaugural issue will be announced soon. Scholars and researchers are invited to contribute original work that reflects critical engagement, interdisciplinary depth, and relevance to contemporary intellectual and social concerns.

The journal aspires to be indexed in recognized academic databases and to evolve as a credible platform for philosophical and multidisciplinary research.
